The non-farmed land includes woodland, particularly on the southern and western boundaries, and watermeadows running alongside a river, which runs northwards through the centre of the estate and joins the Kennet in Hungerford.
There is a public bridleway running along the drive and then south towards Bagshot. Furthermore, there are public footpaths clearly signed, north towards Hungerford and west towards North Standen. These are shown on West Berkshire Council’s website.
The farm produces electricity through a 30 kW roof-mounted solar photo-voltaic array, which is connected to the national grid. Five of the houses are heated using a biomass boiler, with one other using an air-source heat pump.
